The ScrapIt website is a static, self-hosted site. It is built as plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no server-side application logic. Specifically, this website:

• Does not set any cookies of its own
• Does not use analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no equivalent service)
• Does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers
• Does not embed third-party content that profiles you (no ad networks, no social trackers)
• Does not ask you to log in, and contains no forms that collect personal data

Because we set no non-essential cookies and use no tracking technologies, there is nothing to consent to — so this site does not show a cookie-consent banner. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, a consent banner is only required when a site stores or accesses non-essential information on your device, which this site does not do.

Like virtually all websites, the hosting provider that serves this site may automatically record standard technical connection information — such as your IP address, the time of your request, and your browser type — in short-lived server logs. This is a normal part of delivering a website securely and reliably, and is used only for security, abuse prevention, and ensuring the site loads correctly.

We do not use this information to identify you, build a profile, or track you across other sites, and we do not combine it with any data from the ScrapIt app. The handling of these logs is governed by our hosting provider's own privacy and security practices.

This notice covers only the ScrapIt website. The ScrapIt mobile app is a separate product with its own data practices, described in detail in our Privacy Policy. The app itself also contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

If we ever add analytics, a contact form, third-party embeds (such as an embedded video or externally hosted fonts), or any other technology that sets cookies or processes visitor data, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, add an appropriate consent mechanism before those technologies are activated.
